About Dacski Kennels

 I have been breeding and showing Mini Long-Haired Dachshunds now for over 7 years. However, I have been showing dog’s since I was a Pee wee handler of only 5 years of age. I have over the years has shown many different breeds as a Junior handler – My mom’s Samoyed, Nova Scotia Duck Tollers, Irish Wolfhounds, Pointers, Mini Dachshunds and even more breeds. I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club and also a member of the Dachshund Club of America. 

 My 1st dog  was a Lovely Black and Tan Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund from Nepachee Kennels – Oscar. Our 2nd Dachshund we had flown up from Newfoundland and what a show dog he turned out to be. He obtained his CKC Championship very quickly then I proceed on to show him also to his UKC Championship, followed by adding Grand Championships both CKC and UKC. This boy also loves to do lure coursing - and my mom surprised us when she had him in the US and put on Precision run title on him. He further went on to get his Coursing Aptitude title at an event run by the Grey Hound Club of Canada. It was amazing watching him run this 550-yard course entirely 3 times. So He’s complete name - CDN. UKC.GRChampion Rockindox Screeh Hound. CA - know as Oliver.
